Find Your Completion In Christ

Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Psalm 37:4
Find Your Completion In Christ
Many people are in financial debt today because they are trying to find their security, identity and esteem in material things, instead of in Christ. So they end up buying things that they don’t need to impress people who really don’t care!
This erroneous mindset leads to the destructive habit of folks spending beyond their means, making only partial payments on their monthly credit card bills, and overextending themselves with mortgages they cannot afford and car loans they cannot service. Then, they end up asking God why there is no provision for their debts.
Beloved, being caught in this destructive habit and debt cycle is not God’s heart for His precious children. Let’s understand that having more things doesn’t complete us. Only Jesus can fill that vacuum. So find your security and completion in Christ. You have a treasure in you, One far more precious than anything money can buy. Anchor your security and identity in Jesus and delight yourself in Him alone!

Partake Of His Life

God…shares with us the life of His Son and our Master Jesus. He will never give up on you. Never forget that.
1 Corinthians 1:9, THE MESSAGE
Partake Of His Life
Make no mistake: Jesus is the purest form of life, and He has called us to share intimately with Him this incredible God-kind of life. It’s a life where sicknesses and diseases have no place. And when you became a born-again believer, God qualified you to partake of this life.
Today, in the face of your symptoms, in the midst of your fears and worries, meditate on this truth and see the very life of God available and supplied to you right now. See yourself—spirit, soul and body—immersed and surrounded by the very life that fills our Lord Jesus. It will swallow up every symptom of pain, weakness and death until you are walking in its fullness!

Ester Of Joy's

Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who
believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live."

JOHN 11:25

I am so grateful for Jesus, His grace, His finished work on the cross, and His death, burial and resurrection. And I'm so grateful for you.
What a blessing it is to celebrate the resurrection of Christ Jesus with you today!
Truly this is the season to rejoice. Our sins are forgiven, our righteousness sure and our eternity secure. And it's all because of the finished work of Jesus!
The death, burial and resurrection of our Savior overcame the grave and are the receipt of our eternity with our Father in heaven. No longer are we distant from God, striving to measure up by our own efforts at righteousness. Today, we are living in the beauty of the new covenant—we are recipients of grace.
You are accepted, approved of and dearly loved by the Father, because Jesus is your righteousness. Sin has no more power in your life. All your sins—past, present and future—have been completely and perfectly paid for.
Whatever you need today, look to Jesus. Don't rely on your own efforts or trust in your own strength. Rest in the finished work of Jesus and receive His provision. He is your wisdom. He is your comfort. He is your strength. He is your healing.
Beloved, I'm so thankful for you. I pray that you experience the power of the risen Savior today and every day.
Celebrating Jesus,

Place It On His Hands

And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted. So when they were filled, He said to His disciples, “Gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing is lost.” Therefore they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves which were left over by those who had eaten.
John 6:11–13
Place It In His Hands
When Jesus saw the five loaves and two little fish, unlike His disciples, He didn’t see the naturally impossible demand placed on Him—to feed 5,000 men (not counting the women and children) with a boy’s small lunch. He saw the supernatural supply in His Father’s kingdom.
The result? Not only were the people fed till they were stuffed, there were also 12 baskets full of leftovers!
My friend, are you facing a situation of insufficiency today? Perhaps you can’t find enough time to get your work done, as well as spend quality time with your family. Why not put your time in Jesus’ hands and, as with the five loaves and two little fish, allow Him to multiply it? Jesus will give you the wisdom on how best to use your time.
Try it for yourself. Bring your little to Jesus. He will multiply whatever little you place in
His hands with plenty left over!

Choose Life

Today I have given you the choice between life and death…Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!
Deuteronomy 30:19, NLT
Choose Life Today!
You can choose life today when you realize that life and death are in the power of your tongue (Proverbs 18:21).
This is how you choose life practically and reign in it every day: Instead of complaining about your symptoms, simply thank God for His gift of righteousness and declare your righteousness in Christ.
Say this prayer with me:
Jesus, thank You for not just loving me and removing my sins, but for also giving me Your everlasting righteousness. You ARE my righteousness—today, tomorrow and forevermore. And because I am righteous, I will REIGN IN LIFE through You. I will reign over sin and sickness, and live a life that glorifies You! Amen!

Are You Tempted And Struggling With Impure Thoughts?

Are You Tempted And Struggling With Impure Thoughts?
"Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually" (Genesis, 6:5).
At times everyone struggles with impure and evil thoughts, but as Christians what can we do to overcome and control them from running our lives?
Jesus said;
"Keep watching and praying that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak” ( Matthew, 26:41).
When Jesus made this statement, He was at that very moment in the garden of Gethsemane, being tempted more than at any other time in His earthly life. He was being severely tempted by satan, to go against the will of His heavenly Father, and not drink of the bitter cup of the Cross, which He did indeed drink on our behalf.
Jesus Made A Firm Covenant To Obey God
The tender plea made to us above by Jesus, is touching in that He, being found in a body of flesh just as we now are, was then obviously well acquainted with human frailty, feelings of natural desires, as well as physical weakness and infirmities. (Hebrews, 4:14-15)
Yet according to Hebrews 12:2, for the "joy" that was set before Him, Jesus did not sin by giving into the temptation of their demands, but instead obeyed God by enduring death, even death upon the cross.
Job Made A Covenant With His Eyes
Job Said;
“I made a covenant with my eyes not to look with lust at a young woman" (Job, 31:1).
Jesus Said;
"But I say, anyone who even looks at a woman (or man) with lust has already committed adultery with her (him) in their heart" (Matthew, 5:28).
Have We Truly Committed Our Hearts and Minds Over To God?
King David Wrote;
"I will not put anything wicked in front of my eyes. I hate what unfaithful people do. I want no part of it" (Psalm, 101:3). GW.
Do We Ever Place Wicked And Vile Things Before Our Eyes?
Like King David, do we hate what is wicked and evil, wanting no part of it? Or do we, because of our impure thought life, indulge our lustful fantasies and their passions in things like pornographic images easily seen on our computers?
Do we watch movies on TV, or in theaters that contain suggestive and even explicit sexual content? Further more, would we dare to go against God, by allowing our children to view such wide spread, and easily accessible immorality? And, if we refuse our children seeing such things, then what are we doing watching them?
What Can We Do Then To Avoid Evil Thoughts And Desires
Keep in Step with the Spirit
"But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do" (Galatians, 5:16).
Each Man And Woman Is Enslaved By Their Own Sinful Desires
"But each person is tempted when he/she is lured and enticed by his/her own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death" (James, 1:14-15).
Have We Made Our Thoughts To Become Obedient To Christ?
"We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ" (2 Corinthians, 10:5).
Thinking Only On Those Things That Are Worthy Of Praise
"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things" (Philippians, 4:8).
Can We Truthfully Say That We Have The Mind Of Christ?
"The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments, for, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct Him?” But we (Christians) have the mind of Christ" (1 Corinthians, 2:15-16).
If we honestly possess within us the mind of Christ, and have taken every thought captive, making them obedient to Him, and are thinking only on those things that are praise worthy, then when tempted to think impure thoughts and commit evil against God, we will rather be empowered as Jesus was, to submit and surrender everything we are and have, over to our heavenly Father.
Are You Submitted And Committed To God And His Perfect Will For Your Life? Let Us Now Agree Together, To Begin Serving Our Savior And Not Our Selves, Amen?

You Are Set Free From The Curse

And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up. But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, “Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.” And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
Luke 13:11–13
You Are Set Free From The Curse!
One of my favorite stories in the Gospels is of Jesus healing a woman bowed over with a spirit of infirmity for 18 years. Imagine never being able to see the sky or rainbows, but only the dust of the earth and the grubby feet of people—what a painful existence she lived!
I love how Jesus saw her and immediately called her over to receive a miracle from Him. The woman had been bound in this condition for 18 years, a number which represents bondage in the Bible. When Jesus said to her, “Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity,” He was proclaiming liberty over her and setting her free from the bondage of the devil. He laid hands on her and she immediately received her healing.
Today, you have already been set free from the curse of sickness by Jesus’ one perfect sacrifice at the cross. Believe it and proclaim your liberty won by His finished work!

Jesus Is With You To Guide You

In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.
Proverbs 3:6
Jesus Is With You To Guide You
Something very unique and precious happens when you believe that the Lord is always with you. As you trust the Lord to open your eyes to see Him in your situation, the more you see Him, the more He manifests Himself. If you are in the midst of committing to an important business agreement, I assure you that if you can see the Lord there with you, His wisdom will flow through you, and He will give you supernatural insight to locate any important details that are missing from that contract that you are about to sign.
You can even be in the midst of an argument with your spouse, but the moment you become conscious of the Lord’s presence, your words will change. Somehow, there will be a supernatural restraint that you know is not from yourself. That is also the Lord!
Beloved, God knows every idiosyncrasy about you, yet He loves you perfectly because He sees you through the lens of the cross, where His Son has removed every failing from your life. He is with you not to judge you or smack you on the head with a giant bat the moment you fail. No, His presence is always with you to direct you, guide you, lead you into becoming more like Christ, and to make you a success in your endeavors!

Greatest Gift From God To You

I am writing to you today with good news: You have been given a gift!
And this is a gift that no one can ever take away from you.
It doesn't matter what circumstances you face. It doesn't matter who stands against you. And it doesn't matter what mistakes you may have made.
That's because this gift is not earned based on your goodness...or lack of goodness. This gift is freely given and based solely on the finished work of Jesus.
So take a moment and chew on this revelation today...
You have been given the lavish, overflowing, never-ending love of your heavenly Father.
You are accepted. You are approved. You are beloved by God!
But sadly, instead of experiencing and celebrating God's lavish love, many believers are struggling and striving, trying to earn what can only be received.
For a number of years, I was one of them.
Back in the days when I was president of my youth ministry, I would preach hellfire and brimstone messages. (I know that may be hard to believe, but it's true.)
I would say, "Come on, young people, stop backsliding. You've got to have more passion for God, more love for God. Try harder. Do more."
I was sincere, and I wanted to help my youths, but in my heart I knew there was something missing in my messages.
I was preaching what I had always heard: "Prove your love. Do more for God. Love God more and more each day," but in my own life I was seeing that self-effort can only take you so far. As soon as I messed up, I'd blame myself and beat myself up for not loving God enough.
Even while I was preaching, I remember thinking,"I'm not good enough. I can never make it. Maybe some of these young people will do better than I'm doing."
Beloved, the Lord has taught me so much since those early days. Today, I want you to know...
You don't have to do more to earn God's love; you can accept what Jesus did and receive God's love.
I believe we see the powerful love of the Father demonstrated so clearly in the story of the prodigal son that Jesus tells in Luke 15:11–32.
You will remember that in this story, the younger of two brothers comes to his father and demands his inheritance. This son then goes to a faraway land and spends his father's money on riotous, wasteful living.
Eventually, his money runs out. He hits rock bottom. This wayward son decides to go back home and earn his way back into his father's good graces. He decides he'll ask his father to make him one of his hired servants. In other words, he is saying, "I'll work hard. I'll make amends for my mistake. I'll earn my way."
But I love how this story ends.
When the father sees his son on the horizon, he runs to him, throwing his arms around his wayward child, with not a single word of rebuke. Instead he calls for his servants to bring the best robe, to put a ring on his son's hand and sandals on his son's feet.
What lavish love and amazing grace we see here!
Beloved, your heavenly Father is throwing His arms around you today. He is reaching out to meet you at your point of need. You don't have to figure out a way to fix this situation you're in, lean on your own strength or perform to earn His favor and blessings.
God is a gracious God. He loves to lavish. He loves to give.
Jesus' finished work has opened the way for you to receive the love and blessings that you don't deserve.
At the cross, He cried "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?" so that today, you and I can cry out, "My Father, my Father, why have You so blessed me?"
Whatever situation you may be facing today, the Father knows what you are going through; you are not alone.
Because of His great love for you, He has already made your path straight and provided everything you need today. Take your focus off the size of the problem and put your focus on the love of the Father, and I believe your breakthrough will come.
Beloved, I want you to know that I am so grateful for you and my team and I pray for you often.
Thank you for standing with us each month. Your faithful prayers and your generous support make it possible for us to share the gospel of grace all over the world. I am so blessed that believers like you are dedicated to helping us unveil Jesus for the world to see.
If you've been blessed by this message, we'd love for you to forward this email. You may know someone—a family member or a friend—who needs to know Jesus; this could be a great way to share Christ or the gospel of grace with them.
Remember, never doubt that your heavenly Father loves you. It doesn't matter what you've done or haven't done. He loves you no matter what.
His love is an unconditional gift. I hope you'll receive this gift today.
Resting In God's Lavish Love,
